Elemental Dragon: Air

Another elemental dragon, this time water. Rather than making each one a generic western quadrupedal, winged dragon, I decided to vary their forms a bit. This one's serpentine. It, like the fire one, is also meant to look ethereal and spiritual like a being of essence rather than of material.

I always liked fire better than water because fire just seemed stronger and more powerful. But this drawing is just epically awesome, wonderful and skillful. although it does look more like a snake/serpent/basilisk than a dragon. 10/10

I'm not sure if I would show the tail of the dragon if I were drawling it myself, I feel like that gives it a sense of finality and definition, instead of the fluidity and freedom it deserves. The fact that you can see the whole dragon gives it a framed feeling, and it prevents the viewer from imagining it in motion, swimming straight off the page! However, I really enjoy the colors you chose because it fits the beast so well, and the light spots on it are something I would never have imagined but add greatly to the feeling of calm wonder you get while seeing it. It reminds me of watching the waves at sea, or seeing a majestic tropical waterfall.

My favorite of all your elemental dragons. I am a big fan of the serphent body style like the chinese dragons rather than the western style. Also water is my favorite element and i think it works really well in the drawing also the detail of the bubbles and the color change add alot to the drawing.

I also like this dragon design of yours in particular. The serpentine figure also does well for the composition. As well, i like how you've created a sense of increasing depth to the water as it grew darker toward the bottom.

The colors were very appropriate, but I particularly enjoyed the nature-inspire patterns on the dragon. Definitely feels at home at sea- sort of creature.

I think it well done yes, but I was thinking about it. There was something that it seemed to lack and I couldn't place what it was. Well I've finally figured it out. What this dragon is missing is fins, you know, for swimming. Also, I don't see any gills, which, for some strange reason, is something I put on all my water dragons... Hmm...

Any way, it's still leagues ahead of anything I can draw...

I don't really like it. It doesn't seem to have the majesty it needs to be water, also it doesn't seem all that intelligetn and it looks like it has hair or something, it should be more sleak and slender.

This is amazing to me, you manifested the water element with a sort of fishy serpentine, a good idea to me, as is the sea seems to have plenty of those in it :D, but realy, I think this is pretty cool
