I feel like I should write another news post to get the other one off the Recent Updates thing.

While what I said in it is all essentially true - I'm not entirely comfortable with the dominant ages amongst the members as it leads to 'alienation in my own home' - I probably was overly bitter and unfair on people who haven't done anything wrong.

I've been having a hard time recently, feeling 'Depressed' due to the general festivities of Christmas (I am quite the happy bunny, as you can tell), and I suppose I took it out on the site, in a way.

So yes, I'm writing this mainly to push the other one into the past.

I still need to get CBC sponsored, but I think I'll wait until after the new year. I rarely have time off, and I'm probably not in the best state for talking to sponsors, so, uh... yes.

Maybe I'll start my new game before getting CBC sponsored though. There's nothing to stop me doing that.

Perhaps you were right. Some children may need to feel superior. They may like to believe they are as intellectually mature as the older, because that's all they have. But thanks for pushing those into the past. Arcadeprehacks was probably just a way for some impatient person who wished to realize the plot of a game and universe they were very interested in. Not gutted and destroyed for some, just easier and less tedious. Doesn't mean you were wrong though, having something you spent maybe 4,5 years on stolen and changed. Christmas was probably a stressful time, and the steam you let off has done no damage in anyone's eyes.

A good rant every once in a while is a good thing, though i disagree with you in some of your arguments for some cases, in which parents encourage their children to think for themselves, to *try* to be intelligent in their discussions.
Although when I was younger I went onto the members portion, as long as there was no paying and whatnot, usually after asking, but occasionally, because I had felt left out, which is not something many preteens don't know how to deal with/enjoy. I definitely don't agree with your put people in their place , people should be encouraged, not kept into place due to something they have no power to control. That's somewhat like some social hierarchy where peasants are stuck at peasants unless they manage to rise ranks through combat, or luck, certainly never rising too terribly far. I mean, how would you feel if you were grouped with a bunch of people not as good at creating flash games as you, simply because you haven't been working for long?

I know I seriously sound redundant when I say this, but Psuedo, don't worry, most of us know that you have your personal problems for your personal life so we don't care.

Hope you feel better.

It's fine Pseudo. Just relax, take deep breaths, and do that new game with a happy expression, not a sad expression, I can wait for CBC it's not rlly a big deal.

I know this is a bad time to bring this but but I there's something I'd like to say about ow you can see how others rated your comments. I know how to get to the list of names but when I click on one of them it closes the 'window' (or whatever you call the thing that shows you all the people and how they liked you comments). I'm not sure if its supposed to but I can still right click then open their page in a new tab or window, same as I can do with the name of someone who made a comment.
I don't expect someone to fix this. I don't even know if its broken. But could someone tell me if its the same for them? Anyone at all just to give this child (yes pseudo I know I'm proving you right) piece of mind.

If you want the clicked ratings to link you to their userpages, try posting that in the Suggestions forum. I would agree, it would be more convenient to have the names in the "window" link you to the userpages.

Actually, you already can, just right click on the name of someone whose userpage you want to see and click open in new tab/window. It might not work on some browsers but I know it does on the latest version of chrome.

Oh, that's a relief. Personally, I thought you were seriously going to ban all younger members, but it seems that it's just a mood swing. Nothing wrong with that, though. Well, a few days off has never hurt anyone, and CBC is still going to have a timely release (though if you were only looking at the year it was released in, you wouldn't think that!). It (the depression) doesn't seem to be hurting your work and everyone feels depressed sometimes; you'll probably get over it. Your new game will probably be great, CBC will pull in some cash, and I bet it'll feel great starting off Year 2011 with a RELEASE! Thanks (I think I speak for more than myself here) for the hard work and good luck getting over your depression!

Hey Pseudo, you need to get your ACT TOGETHER and publish CBC already! I mean, really, if I'M not playing it, then clearly you have failed, as I am all that matters and you should publish it immediately no matter the amount so that I may play it as soon as possible! If you even bother publishing it at all; as long as I get to play it, then certainly that's all that matters.

oohh yes because your sole opinion is so important to him that he will drop everything he is doing, including managing this site, in an attempt to please you.

Uh, well. If I recall, one of users in Christmas poll said that it was created for people so they won't be taken over by usual winter depression or something like this. Unfortunately, this positive effect doesn't work on people who don't celebrate it (or are forced to), and for many of those it makes situation even worse. Especially for the ones who claim to be exceptionally envious. So yes, no wonder you're in such mood. Hopefully no one will complain about process of publishing CBC getting longer or something like this, it would be somewhat cruel in such situation.
I can't tell you what to do in such situation, because a) I don't really know, and b) you don't really want to take advices anyway. Just want to let you know that if you think that doing something may help it at least a bit, I (and probably some other users, too) am perfectly fine with it whatever it is (as long as it doesn't hurt others). So if you feel like starting this new game, finally finding sponsors for CBC, composing some music, improving site or simply rest a bit, I totally accept it.
It's not that I'm the one to judge you or something like that (you're the one who creates games and stuff and you should be appreciated for doing it rather than despised for not creating them), also it's probably nothing too relevant. I just feel that I should make it clear. When someone has something to complain about, one shows it, but when everything is fine, hardly anybody find it worth mentioning. Actually, I don't really think that anybody (except the tiny minority of users, probably new ones) would spit out their discontent or something like that, not on this site, but I hope pointing this out make you feel more... relaxed, perhaps.

Although I totally disagree with idea of banning 13-years old users, it's understandable that you considered something like this, especially in such time. I don't get annoyed by children so easily, but it's true that those showing off their maturity are particularly irritating (especially, when they try to prove it by getting products made for 18+, like cigarettes, alcohol etc.; seeing them harming themselves to prove they are adults is somewhat disturbing). However, that's not the reason to allow only 13+ to register on FH. Hopefully there won't be any problems with mentioned US law.

So... that's it, I suppose. I hope your state will get better eventually. ^^'

Yes, I love Christmas but I have to agree with aiox82, It's so stressful that eventually I have to take a nap, and I hate naps, so if you have to take a break take weekend with your girlfriend and just relax, thats really the only way to cool down, and you get to calm down, I have to prepare for my Birthday which is four days after Christmas, so I'm stressed during the last part of December and I cool off be just goofing off when school gets back in session, So just go take a good long break, sleep in and just relax.
