The word "yoon" does not actually exist. If you look it up on Google the most "informative" results you'll find are:
- It's a korean name; possibly meaning "the eldest"
- It's a English term of agreement or endearment (though I highly doubt the validity of this information, it is about as reliable as Urban Dictionary)

Yoon is more likely a "phonetic" spelling of a more commonly used word such as "one", I wrote a comment in reply to chui094's that details my reasoning for believing it is one as well as some rather delicious speculation as to what it refers to. Good read, if I do say so myself, and I do!

My best guess would be "one-eyed" (Enki speaks oddly, and this is the result of *odd* pronunciation of "one"). I don't particularly mean GdM, but it might be referring to the Droma, which are an army (" invasion it was..."). My particular reason for believing this is he says "...with a smile in their EYE..." suggesting they only have one eye and probably no mouth, again fitting the description of a Droma perfectly.

It's interesting to think that Enki might have encountered the Droma too. Of course, this is rather wild speculation on what little information we have, but it's very interesting (and a revelation I might add -- there is no mention of this anywhere on the wiki or as far as I am aware, anywhere).

That's a good idea, and I think I saw it somewhere else, but why wouldn't it be... an Annunaki?(I do agree that Droma is more likely, since they're the servants of the Annunaki, but it's still best to keep the options open.)

Think about it... one eye, no mouth, just like you said, but he said that "They mayn't a' rained fire and brimstone from the heavens, but they sure as Hell took over, with a smile in their eye and a chummy waggle a' the ol' grabber, aye, but an invasion it was, an invasion it was...".(The "waggle a' the ol' grabber" does make it sound more like it's Dromas.) The way it was described was more like they took over politically. The way I thought of it was that the GdM, using the violet crystal, were taking over other planets in the Nusku-Girru system, and that they had already taken over Nineveh, and that Enki and the crew of the Carassius were lucky enough to escape. Suffice it to say, whoever they are, I'd say it's a fair bet to say they are from Anshar, and they are most likely going to be one-eyed. Myes.
