Yes, I immensely regret not letting people who have a history of making multiple accounts for the sake of trolling, and who give unfair red ratings out of spite, onto the new site in its early stages. Truly I am the worst of dictators.

I wanted the first people to the new site to be people I actually recognised and thought I might be able to trust to not mess up the place. You may be the centre of your own personal universe, and may know how clever and trustworthy and so on you are, but I don't because I don't recognise you, and only lengthy experience interacting with specific members makes them stand out to me from amongst the rest.

Rather than choosing 'better' members, I just mostly chose people whose behaviour I could sort of predict, so I'd have less reason to worry that they might hack at the new site's weak points, since there surely are some of those in these early stages.
It's sort of like the difference between inviting acquaintances rather than unpredictable strangers to come and look at something that you've just spent months making, and which might be rather fragile.

Then I 'closed the doors' after just over 100 people had joined, since that seemed enough for now. I'll let everyone else in once I'm sure it's safe and stable. It was only meant to be this way for a few days, but it's dragged on because I've been distracted with other things.

This has been a problem for ages, but I'm not going to do anything about it now. It's something that I've at least 'fixed' on the new site, though.

It's annoying how it's really difficult to tell whether this IS 'just a troll', or whether it's a real person whose mind really is this broken; religion certainly can do that to people, so it's not beyond belief.

If it IS this person showing his real views, then it just gives me more reason to wish that religion would go away, since it obviously encourages closed-minded intolerance.
Jesus probably said all that 'love your enemy' stuff, and yet I notice that a lot of his supposed followers don't live the way that he instructed them to at all. So if there is a Hell - which there surely is not - the Bible says that monsters like this will be in there as well as people like me. Everyone but a handful of male Jewish virgins will be, actually.
And if Heaven were full of people like this, then it too would just be another Hell.

If this is just a troll, then I wonder why people do things like this? 'To get a reaction', yes, but why things like THIS? Does it relate in any way to his real views? It'l been remarkably consistent so far.

What even caused this? Is it purely based on comments I've made about how I'm not exactly in love with the idea of socialising with people half my age?

If so, it seems a rather extreme reaction that suggests a serious ego problem or something, if he reacts with trolling or anger or hate to the idea that he is not at the pinnacle of his development and has to earn certain things with time and experience...

I don't know what else it could be, but I am curious and more than a bit befuddled about why I would be so hated.

If he has been bothered by my idea of children, then this seems a rather odd and counter-productive way of handling it, since it sort of just shows that yes, young people ARE rather 'immature'...
It's not like I was going to ban anyone based on age, but something like this IS a reason for a ban.

I won't yet, of course, though this course of action does sort of seem to be asking for it.

Is there any good explanation for this, or should I just ban this profile?

"I need to PAY to have a nice-looking car/house? But why can't I just have all the paint and furniture and stuff for free?! I don't WANT to pay! I hate this!"

I'd like to get food and a place to live for free, but I cannot, which is the only reason I would ever ask other people to give me their money.

PayPal is a payment method, not a payment platform. There's a difference; a payment platform will accept many payment methods, like PayPal or credit cards, and it would handle the input professionally and securely so all I would need to worry about would be specifying a price to pay and, presumably, a script to run if the payment is successful.

My site is like my home online, and the main reason that I wish to renovate it is the same as why people would want to redecorate their house. Players of my games may visit here only fleetingly, but I am here almost constantly, and if I am unsatisfied with the place, it is a drain on my mood.
I am also not a machine and can't just decide to work on games even more... I already feel that I do work on them as much as I am able, and a break from them to work on something else is always a pleasant relief for me.
Also, my Anxiety Disorder makes it difficult for me to contact sponsors to get money for my games, which is the whole reason I'd prefer to sell them myself. That way I don't have to interact with middlemen on a social level, or to impress them enough to get a good offer.

(Also, I wonder what sites you are used to where four sentences would be considered too long to read for some or most people...)
