When I was a child, I showed some signs of Autism and was taken to do some tests to determine wheter I had Autism or not. But apparently, even after these tests the doctors could not determine wheter they had Autism or not. The doctors just told my mother "James is just James" On any medical records about me it states I'm autistic but I might not actually be. I tend to be socially awkward and a have a lack of confidence, but that could just be me, not Autism. What annoys me is, when I say I might have Autism I generally get a reply like "You don't have Autism, your not good at maths." I don't really have any stand-out amazing skill that most people belive Autistic people do, apart from some ( I've been told) very good writing and storytelling skills.

I have a lot to say on this subject and could ramble on forever, but I won't. In the end, I believe Autism is a difference, not a disorder and doesn't need to be "cured" or "fixed" in any way! Same for asperger's, ADHD/ADD and many other disorders!

It was a diificult choice between turn-based and action RPGs, but in the end, I went for action RPGs. Here are a few reasons why:

1. Although some may say action RPGs require less thought then Turn-based RPGs, I find the opposite is true. In a turn-based RPG, you have all the time in the world to decide what skill to use. In an action RPG, you have mere seconds ( Unless, like me, you pause the game.... he he he) If you don't act first, you'll die.

2. Some may disagree here, but turn based RPGs don't really require any skill to play. In an action RPG, the stats and equipment your were matter, but if you can't swing that sword right, your gonna die. I like a mix of thoughtful Strategy and skillful button-bashing.

3. Action RPGs tend to give you more freedom then turn-based ones. Oblivion, fallout 3, dragon age and sacred are good examples of this. I like the ability to go where I want, when I want. The abitlity to make decisions that impact on the story also appeals to me.

4. This isn't a very good reason, but the Final Fantasy ( FF12 and FF13 are both very fast-paced) series is becoming more action-focused and I'm a huge fan of FF.

So yeah, That's why i prefer action RPGs! I'm not saying a bad word against Turn-based RPGs, those are really good too! I'd pick a good turn-based RPG over a okay-ish action RPG any day of the week.

P.S Actually, how do you define if a RPG is turn-based. A lot of the final fantasies use the ATB battle mechanic, so they're not turn-based, but they're certainly not what you'd call an action RPG either. HHHMMM.............

I can't be sure, but I don't think that this is referring to physical strength, but determination and willpower. If so, I'm both strong and weak in that regard, so I choose neither.

I feel I need to add this!

I'm not sure if It sounded like this, but this girl really isn't a "slut" or anything!

She's just a very trusting person and has a sort of "sparkle in her eye"

Okay, how does this situation sound to you?

My friend has told me that ( I'm not completely sure if this happened myself ) that he has dumped previous girlfriends for horrible reasons such as
1. He's seen the girl without her make-up
2. She was too "frigid" and wouldn't do things with him.
3. The girl put on weight

He acts nice to this girl and i thought he genuinely liked her, for a while, then I started hanging out with him.

He says horrible things about her behind her back, such as:

1. Calling her a dumb bitch
2. saying getting her to sleep with him was worryingly easy
3. A *LOT* of nasty, sexual comments about her
4. Her name's Laura, so he took it upon himself to give her the "loving" nickname, "whore-a"

The thing is, if I tell her this she won't believe me, because it'll look like I'm trying to get her to dump him.

I know it sounds horrible, but I was hoping I could be the shoulder to cry on when he dumps her horrible. BUT...... I don't think that's actually gonna happen because she doesn't see this side of him and he' s getting what he wants from her.

I'm really annoyed by this because I genuinely like her as a person but I'm powerless in this situation. My friend says he might be just saying these things about her to impress the lads, but he does actually like her.

BUT... If he did really like her he wouldn't care what the " the lads " think about her. Him saying these things, plus the stuff he's done in the past suggest he doesn't really care about her. He's never actually said " I don't like her as a person" but he really gives that impression.

Anyway, thanks for listening to me drone on about my pathetic life, I'd like to know what you think on this. THANKS!

Well, uh, I asked her out!( This was ages ago by the way, like in October )

UH, she said no.
Well, that sucks.
Anyway, She's now going out with this guy I know. He's nice to her but he's treated his previous girlfriends really badly so I'm confused about whether he likes he or not.

I understand what everyone is trying to say, but I'm just not that confident. Hopefully, if she is actually at this Halloween party, I'll have a chance.
