Well, technically I still didn't die, so I would play again. I can't believe that the only civilian who survived was the hobo...

I don't know why you would rather believe that I am lying than Ares is lying, but I really didn't get an item. Both Ares and I have no actual ways to prove what items we got, so I guess you could trust your instincts if you think Ares is more trustworthy than me. By the way, nice comments. Your last few comments have been fairly long and detailed, which is always great. Oh, and you weren't smug, it's interesting how you word things, I like it. Also, Element stated in the very start of the game that the roles he would give out were not dependent on alignment; he actually typed it so nobody would think that. I do think you're right about Colonel Clay being inactive because he is probably the killer. If his post now doesn't give him away, the person he kills will. I hope we're right about this, because I don't know who else would be so suspicious after him, and I'm also a little tired of having people lynched. I really don't like to sound to sound so sure of myself, I really can't know for sure if Clay is the killer or even accomplice, though I feel like I've been writing that way.

Ares, how you could you know if I got an item? Besides, killing more people isn't the point of the game, only killing the killer, so I'd only need to have Colonel Clay lynched, not all three people up for vote.

I vote for Colonel Clay because he tends to vote towards the end of days, when most people have already made up their minds. This way, he'd be able to have whoever has the majority vote lynched, and someone else he chooses killed. He also votes for the person who is not killed that night so nobody suspects him. He does not write much about the reasoning behind his choice, probably because he is just trying to choose someone that he does not plan to kill. Also, he might've tried to shoot Michael Flynn, as that was his vote, and he knew his name would not be listed when he used the item. So he could kill two people in one night. Since Colonel Clay chose the same vote as me, he may have been trying to make people suspicious towards me like they would also been towards him. He may even be the killer because he tried to frame me for killing David S. after I voted for David.

Damascus, as I wrote in my post, you could've gone back and edited your description after your role was given, but you chose to remain a seemingly kind person. Besides, Element could have been thinking strategically as he granted roles, so your kindness would be a good cover if he gave you the role of killer. Also, I didn't call your comments meaningless, I enjoy them like any other, because you add more conversation and depth to the game. I just said that they weren't all relevant, so it seems like you might be trying to blend in as a detached and easygoing player. A few people have already sent me p.m.s, asking me if I am the killer, so quite a few people suspect the hobo as a killer. If I was so highly suspected, I wouldn't start killing because I know that I'd be prosecuted fairly quickly. Also, Zeke never stayed in a homeless shelter, he just traveled on rail cars, so he probably would never have met Michael, if that makes you feel better. Oh, and sorry for voting for you, but there are so few players alive now that you're really the only one I strongly suspect; it was not out of spite. I'd only be spiteful if you voted for me and then I was lynched.

I vote for Michael Flynn because he intentionally tried to make himself seem like a better person in his description by mentioning that he volunteers at a homeless shelter and tries to make some difference in peoples' lives. Michael Flynn posts regularly, including comments that are not necessary for the progression of the game, and any extreme of too many or too few posts makes me suspicious. After he got his role, he could've edited his post, but he left in the bit about the homeless shelter, so I think he still wanted to seem like a better person.

I'm sorry I accused you, David S., if you can hear me beyond the grave, and then you died. I do think that the killer's choice was purposeful, because if a hobo was accused and lynched, there would be no record. I choose Joe Smith also, because I think the killer was chosen early and that his clothes, eating habits, and name make him blend in far too much.

If there really is a murderer, we have to keep all our guards up. Hobos have death looming over them constantly, and they do fine, so I think we all have the potential to survive. I already miss the Butler, he could carry so many plates. Hopefully though, the murderer will not strike again and hopefully he is not one of us. Maybe someone broke in. If we are still in danger, though, I'll just hope that my hobo nose can detect something before it is too late. I vote for David S, because I don't know much about his past and because he drinks hooch, so he could murder someone under the influence.

Sounds amusing; I'll join. My character is Zeke Pherus, a homeless man who has been traveling the country for the past decade. He is calm and friendly when approached, but prefers to keep to himself because he has had to rely on himself ever since he started traveling on his own. He is largely self-sufficient and does have some skills, but chose to quit his job rather than being fired. He doesn't like any form of structure too much, and prefers to see new places and meet new people; having as many adventures as he can in life.

Yes, any current bias against a group is due to the lessons and attitudes from ancestors who lived during a time when subservience of one group was allowed. Women didn't get the right to vote, a basic civil right, until 1920 in America, and there is still misogynism. There are many people who prejudiced toward women today, and believe that they should have lower wages then men and should always be in subservient situations compared to them. Whether they picked this up directly from the words of their mentors, parents, or friends, or subconsciously from them, society itself does not encourage this any more, even though certain parts of it do. Slavs were often enslaved by Swedish Vikings (and that is where the word slave came from), and Ancient Greeks often enslaved prisoners of war and sometimes made them fight as gladiators. Most of all, though, when some people interact with things they do not understand, they are often scared, and if they are also stupid, their reactions to fear is anger. There are only certain types of people are racist, and this unfounded hatred often extends into other parts of their lives. They're foul by nature, or at least stubborn and obey what they were taught by their parents, and since Soylent Green doesn't exist yet, there is no practical use for them in society. Perhaps there are people who think racist thoughts in the back of their minds, but as long as they don't express these feelings in any way, I don't believe they have no practical use in society. I don't want to apologize to anyone racist, but I don't want to insult anyone who hasn't chosen to believe the hateful things they do on their own.
