Isn't this great?!
It's the excessively dramatic battle theme for when you fight a member of the Governance de Magi. In case it's not blatantly obvious, it quotes the Main Theme. A lot.

If it's not specifically from a game, then it wasn't composed for a game and is music for music's sake!

This song is not at all excessively dramatic. It is excessively EPIC..

My favorite battle music of the Series up-to-date, I still visit it after several years. This song always gives off the "Last Boss Fight which will end in chaos" kind of feeling for me, sort of a 'series ending battle' that will end everything as we know it whether win or lose'. My first time listening to this back in 2008, the mere music itself had pressure on the fight. An amazing song, no wonder why many people hate the "current-era-music", since these tracks absorbs all the 'EPIC-ness" of music.

You know, I've finished MARDEK: Chapter 3 for a year now, and I still come back to this piece. The way the story takes a turn at the end really makes this song seem wholly depressing. It's so powerfully sad; it really makes you contemplate the characters' actions throughout the series.

One time, after listening to some other music from a game called Rise of Nations, which, apparently, used a real band. Then, I wanted to listen to this, because I always thought this piece was impressive.
But for some reason, this sounded boring to me. It has taken me several months to figure out what it might have been.
These pieces use SYNTH, not instruments. It may also may have been the lack of a few instruments that I enjoy hearing, such as the trombone, clarinet, snare drum, and some others.
This in no way is meant to be offensive, I am just stating what I experienced and why.

This song seems to suggest, to me anyway, that the subject (the fight) was inevitable, whereas the outcome (victory or defeat) is not; another track that establishes that idea very well is the normal boss music from Magi Nation (an old GBC game). All of the battles have led up to this, and you can't back down. There's a finality to it, and a nice mix of doom, despair, and oddly enough, hope. Hope mostly present in the main theme motif, mainly near the end.

This is definitely the most exciting song in the entire Mardek series. Playing this for the final battles was a fantastic idea, because it seems to give an inspirational feeling if you are losing, but also a feeling of pride and victory if you are winning. It also supports the whole alien theme, with a sort of creepy, mysterious feel to it. I know that you're making a lot of changes and upgrades to the new games, but I would appreciate it if you kept this song for the Governance de Magi battles throughout the remaining chapters. Awesome job Pseudo; keep it up.

I can feel some sorrow in this theme,
I can also find some darkness in some parts

Really dramatic. My favorite part is the choir part about 20 seconds into the song. The descending scale really hits the spot on the "superpowerful" boss spot.
The only thing that I feel is missing from this piece is the sinister hopelessness of fighting against such a powerful being. This song is pretty inconsistent for a boss theme, also. Sometimes I feel that the quoting of the main theme changes the song's tone a little bit more than you originally intended, because it begins to sound a bit like the song that plays during the rolling introduction of the game.
Bur really, making a piece like this takes even more talent to create a boss fight where all the music is consistent. I don't think I can EVER make a song with a single consistent melody that can change style every ten seconds or so and still convey the same dramatic feeling overall.
Somewhere in here, though, I can sense a very, very powerful, emotional, and literally deadly bossfight theme.
Good job.
